Our beautifully decorated vintage style boutique is situated in the market town of Highworth, which occupies a strategic position over the Thames Valley. It is often called the ‘gateway to the cotswolds’. We offer a friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere for all our brides. Fairytale Occasions Ltd is run by Nicola Gill who gradutated from the London College of Fashion in the summer of 1999. Nicola decided to start a hand-made, made-to-order garment business and felt that after 11 years of dressmaking it was time to put her love of fabrics, creative mind and knowledge to good use. Nicola loves nothing more than creating bespoke garments, as it gives her a great sense satisfaction and achievement watching a clients dream gown come to life. We have a stunning selection of wedding gowns for you to peruse from designers such as Charlotte Balbier and Kay Mason Brides. In addition to our gowns, we have a beautiful collection of veils, tiaras, headpieces, jewellery, boleros, and garters. We operate an appointment system to ensure that every bride receives an exclusive one to one service. We are open Monday 9.30am-4pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30am – 5pm and Saturdays 10am - 5pm. We are closed on Tuesdays and Sundays. Fairytale Occasions also offers a full dressmaker service from complete creations to repairs and alterations. We can create any outfit, wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, veils, flower girl dresses, ball gowns, christening gowns, party dresses, and cravats and handkerchiefs. No job is too small, whether you want a pair of trousers shortened or skirt taking in then we will be happy to help.
